I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but is anyone else having problems with xtube? Everytime I click on a video to watch it just brings back the lastest videos screen and the video doesn't play. I'm not sure why this is happening...any ideas?

Definitely you can ask questions like this here. Xtube is working fine as always for me (just checked it 2 minutes ago). Maybe try another browser if you have one available, or check your Flash installation - you can run a Flash diagnostic or upgrade your Flash to the latest version, which may help. A lot of video questions are related to Flash issues. Here's some older JUB threads that give you the links and ideas on resolving:

Try this one

Or this one

Or this one

Or even this one

Also, did you try XTube's support area? You can hit that up at http://support.xtube.com/. They might have specific XTube support ideas or you can find other users with a similar issue.

I don't think it has anything to do with the video player itself, Flash in this case, because I don't even get to the screen that plays the videos. It just routes me right back to the screen where you select what video you want to watch. Though every now and again it will let me watch a video. It's just rather weird. I think I will try sending something to xtube's support people, but if anyone else has more ideas let me konw

Use the links Trinket gave you and DO the UNINSTALL and reinstall of Flash first.

When's the last time you cleared your cache and cookies?
I clear that shit out EVERY DAY.......

Won't hurt to do the Flash diagnostic I recommend in the links provided anyway (you visit Adobe's site and it displays your version, against the latest one out there, and tells you if mismatched), or the uninstall/reinstall. Also, Xtube's support area (which I linked to in my original reply) has its own "forum" where you can look at other users' issues and resolutions.

Also, you've never listed what OS/version you're using or what browser/version - those can be helpful in diagnosing as well. Also, as the last two posters said, do a cookies/cache clear and also, maybe your firewall/security software is being overly aggressive at blocking content - check those as well. Is your viewing of Redtube.com and Youtube.com normal? Oh, and be sure you're not running some parental control filtering software where XTube is blacklisted. ;)

I have had no problems viewing videos on youtube at all. I'm running Windows XP Media Center Edition, with Service Pack 3. When I click on a video from the main page on xtube it just brings me right back to the page I was previously on, which is the latest videos screen. I'm using Firefox 3.5.4 or IE 8.
