So, who here likes them? I saw the singer in a movie yesterday, turns out he has done quite a few.

Have you noticed Rokker is avoiding this thread?

Maybe s/he doesn't like you or is upset you started this thread first.

How long before ICL starts a thread "Favorite Years and Years Song" poll?:p

Who?

Anyway, I got the album (the deluxe one nonetheless), but I wasn´t really satisfied, it has some cool tunes but nothing impressive. Maybe it will grow on me later..

I just discovered them. They're actually really great! As in change the world great

Really love the album...love them...BUT...saw them live in Boston a few months ago and watched their Woodie Awards performance and Glastonbury set...Olly really needs to work on his live vocals. They just aren't strong. They get a little drowned out by the band at times and I think his dancing effects his breath control a lot.

‘Communion’ takes no risks and says nothing. Each of its ballads could be a Sam Smith dance remix, each of its upbeat tracks potentially the soundtrack to a Littlewoods advert. With British music currently offering a grime revival spearheaded by Skepta, the kind of innovative R&B exemplified by FKA Twigs, and new guitar heroes like Wolf Alice, Years & Years are among the least compelling sounds of 2015.

Yeah I wouldn´t call FKA Twings nothing but boring.

Sorry aaggi I gave it a shot. Found it trite.

As for FKA I thought it was boring at first too but a friend who is a fan insisted I give it a good listen. The album is amazing. Look what happened with Ms. Banks ;)

God knows I tried, I listened to her album 20 times to understand the hype. Not for me.

They're brilliant. Really enjoy their music.
I saw them support Kylie, Chic, and Grace Jones at Hyde Park in London, last month. Fantastic day.

I'm impressed, media traffic'so United World Charts claims this has sold 92,000 around the world. Impressive to say the least.
