Jan 2005 was looking up getting a new job. The pay sucked but I was back to work and making new friends and after 9 months they lay me off due to no new orders coming in. I think they axed at least 6 others too. They said they would call me back when things pick up but this dude just can't wait for that shit to happen. 
So starting to look for work the first week in October things haven't been too good in the electronics job market. It hasn't recovered much at all actually. I only have 3 more months of unemployment insurance which is barely paying the bills left and I can't fart around. Got to get something soon. I've been thinking about contacting the president of a company whom I had worked for many years and cordially asking for a position with the company and see what happens. At this stage I have nothing to lose but possibly gain a job where I have experience. So I am hooked up with Monster.com and CarreerBuilder.com and have my resumes posted with a number of job staffers or what they used to call employment agencies. Had some bites and went on an interview but nothing yet. So frustrating and depressing form day to day searching and searching and then the thoughts of what you going to do if all fails.
That's I guess the main reason why I haven't been doing any blogging here lately and on the boards as much either. You know there comes time when you need some normalcy in your life. This really sucks. So this years end is not good and it's a lousy making for the holiday season. There will be no Christmas here this year and no reveling of the New Year. I guess life is the only thing that I can be thankful for because the rest of it is all shit. What great way to end the year out.
