so how was the concert?

as I just PMed you.. I didn't go

I'm sorry, I would have liked to write a review, but in the end I couldn't make it. Maybe I would have made it happen, if it hadn't been for the new album.. I love "love me girl", but that's about it. I was expecting to experience a rather "dreamy" concert, but the new stuff is just so energetic. Which isn't a bad thing in general, but just not what Yeasayer meant to me music-wise.

I will post something I read about that concert on last.fm just now (makes me think it probably was a bad decision not to go.. lol)

und wie war es nun?
so, how was it?

großartig. auch wenn sie 2080 frecherweise nicht gespielt haben.
awesome. even though they brazenly didn't play 2080.

yesss, definitely superb!! since the concert I have found a new access to their new album... which I had previously found rather not succeeded. and yepp, too bad they didn't give my favourite song 2080.. I would have loved to scream "yeah yeah" together with the guys at the end.

Those who are interested should check out this page. There are a lot more recent and upcoming Yeasayer shows listed, along with some reviews. Last.fm in general is a great page.

Saw "Yeasayer" last weekend. Sold Out Show. Nice to see the three voices and instrumentalists of the band up close and in person. Great performance.

I've got two of their LPs and enjoy them both, very-much-so!

Yeasayer is following in Radiohead's footsteps by offering an album by paying what you wish.
