Normally my sperm is white-yellowish. In the past days the colour of the sperm has turned yellow. My sperm is now quite liquid, while it normally is more sticky.

Does anyone know why my sperm has changed in this way?
Is it caused by the food I eat (although my habits did not change) or is it perhaps a STD? Last week I did had someone sleeping over, but all that we did was some masturbating and he might have touched my penis with his tongue :P
I don't have any other "symptoms" that might point out to a STD, although my lips are quite dry.

Who can help me out?
 
Just a minor language correction, it's your semen that you're asking about not your sperm.

It depends on the shade of yellow that you're talking about.

A pale yellow "custard" color of yellow is a normal variation. While most people describe semen as being white or grey because they see it on pink skin, if you come on a white towel, you'll see that it has a yellow cast to it.

Things like B and C vitamins, carrots and certain medications can make semen more yellow.

On the other hand, if your semen is a greenish-yellow or brownish-yellow, you should see your doctor since this can be an indicator of a urinary tract infection.
 
Thanks for your reaction. Why is it that the term sperm is wrong? Do you mean that sperm is an element of semen?

But isn't it strange that the colour suddenly has changed? I'm not taking any vitamins lately. And it cannot be from something I incidentally ate. It's lasting for almost a week now... And the shade of yellow is that of urine. Fortunately, it's not greenish or brownish!

In general I wonder why all those boys in porn flicks have such snow-white semen. It's impossible to photoshop that :) I wonder what their diet is!
 
You may have hepatitis or a liver problem. You'll see other things turn yellow, like your eyes, skin, etc.

Okay, to put this plainly - go see a doctor, this could be serious, and stop asking complete amateurs over the internet for advice. Go see a doctor.
 
Given that this is something new for you, you should see your doctor for some screening blood tests, urinalysis and probably a urethral culture.
 
Well I had red semen for a week! Blood in it! Turned out to be OK. But a definite WTF week!
 
I would give it a fw moe days and se if it changes back to your normal color

A few years ago, mine all of a suden turnd brown, so I went to the doctor and they said that it was probably but if it continues to come back in and it quickly changed back to normal color.

drink more water is my recommendation
