I agree in principle. The question is, would a captive-bred animal released on his own (or with his mother for that matter) actually survive in the wild? Of course, animals like this shouldn't be held in captivity in the first place.
 
And here we are. Captive marine mammals continue to be held in facilities around the world when No marine mammals should be in captivity at all.
Good thing we humans measure intelligence on a sliding scale.
 
I wonder if they thought of getting the whale a laptop so he can view porn (although I suppose whate porn sites might be limited) and maybe a few sex toys, instead? :lol:
