I tell people that I would do porn in a heart beat, but would I really do it?

See, if I was hot as hell (and I AM) I would do it, but would people think less of me?
Is there a stigma attached to it?
I try to imagine a dinner conversation during which someone brings up the topic, "Flysingcheesestake filmed 53 movies this year, and its only February. He can really take it up there!" I try to imagine what the reaction would be.
I told my mother that I would definitely do porn, given the opportunity - she just laughed.

So, my question is:
Is there a stigma? I know that it is not something that is talked about in "polite society," but surely no one would really make a big deal of it, no? And I mean proper commercial porn, not some grainy myspace video of me jerking.

I also wonder if my future opportunities would suffer if I were to have "Porn Star" on my resume.

Twenty years ago I was prime twink material and could have done porn. There's no way I would consider it today. I guess I could be in one of these "Daddy" videos, but I'm not interested.
