I came across this 18-year-old singing in a French TV show called "Blind Auditions" where the jury has their backs to the singers and gives them the "thumbs up" by swivelling around in their chairs. The guy sang an Edith Piaf song in which she described having a one-night stand with an American army boy, or legionnaire in the lyrics. The guy singing is called Lillian and he has the same rapid vocal vibrato as Edith Piaf had. The translation of what he's singing about is down below and you can tell from his expression he enjoyed his one night of love ... :) ...

He had large eyes, very clear
Somewhat like lightning in the sky
during a thunderstorm
He was covered in tattoos
that I never really understood
His neck said "Not seen, not caught"
Above his heart was "nobody"
And on his right arm, one word: "reason"

I don't know his name, I don't know anything about him
Yet he loved me all night long, my American army boy!
And leaving me to my fate, he was gone by the morning, full of light!
He was thin, he was handsome, he smelled like the hot sand, my American army boy!
It was the sun on his forehead that made his hair shine blonde in the light.

An extended version of this has popped up which hopefully will play. However, after he's finished singing there's a long discussion with the French judges but no subtitles in English. Still, he's worth watching at the start ... :) ...
