Your favorite video game boss fights! :-)

Ok...I don't know if you guys are like me...but 70% of me liking a video game comes from the boss fights. The game could totally suck...but if it has an intresting or cool boss fight...i'll like it. I'm not talking about just being hard...because you can make any boss hard...but it won't be amazing.

Anyway... tell me some of your favorite boss fights in video games. I'm going to do a Top 10...because I have many lol.

10. Axem Rangers from Super Mario RPG

9. Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4 Lost In Time (or something)

8. Ruby Weapon from FF7

7. The Lovers (The 2 Huge spiders) from House of the Dead 4

6. Majors Mask from The Legend of Zelda Majors Mask (Actually the ONLY boss I liked in the game...and it was a damn good one)

5. Joka from Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (You guys probably never played or even heard of this game...its a ps1 game...amazing visuals for a ps1 game, amazing musical soundtrack, and damn good bosses, it's one of my favorite games...if you guys ever see it...you should check it out. I wouldn't lie to you ^_^

4. Valentina from Super Mario RPG (I loved how every time you hit her...her boobs jiggled hahahaha)

3. Bongo Bongo( Shadow Temple Boss) from The legend of Zelda: ocarina of time

2. Braska Final Aeon from FF10 (Omg...that thing scared the shit outta me when I 1st saw it)

That boss was so fucking fun. omfg.

Visually...my favorite boss was Bilzzetta from Twilight princess...but the boss fight was so fucking easy it made me sad.

I think the worst boss fight in history was the Tiki Guy from the 1st Crash Bandacoot.

Final Fantasy VIII Ultimecia It had some of the greatest music, tons of forms, and my characters were rocking. I felt that sense of urgency to save the time line, and playing it again after figuring out who she was made it even more deep to fight her at the end. One of FF's most subtle final bosses ever. Seemingly unrelated like the lame Necron, but actually integrally related if you did some thinking.

OMFG!!!!!!! I totally forgot about Chrono Trigger!!!!!!!. Queen Zeal omfg..... and yea ff8... although it was really easy...unltimicia final form with the face of light was my favorite... ONLY BECAUSE when you cast tornado on her...it sucks her up...and her dress is like what you are standing on...so like everything just goes up...and comes down hahaha.

Plague from FF4

I don't know if he's classified as a boss, because he's optional and lurks inside a chest waiting to be opened. He's my most respected boss fight because he would inflict Doom on the entire party at the start of the battle, and again anytime a character removes Doom (only possible by revival)

My characters were well under developed and All out brute strength or magic would end up killing my party before the boss. I can't explain it very well because my memory is shocking, but I ended up having to bring millions of phoenix downs and having to balance between offense, and killing one of my own and quickly reviving him to allow the boss to repeat Doom.

Having to think ahead while always inflicted with a fairly quick doom attack was a welcomed challenge compared to the 'hack-slash-then die' bosses i'm familiar with in the FFs series.

Heres a youtube vid of which seems to be an updated version of the game.. which i heard got easier? Looks hellova lot easier for them than it did for me heh. Maybe i should go through every FF game under-developed.. It'd make it far more challenging.

Conker's Bad Fur Day - the mighty poo... i think that was his name... all i remember was the opera singing poo and the helpless corn... funniest boss fight imo

Hahahaha me and my friend were fighting Yunalesca together. (I lost to her 1st...then he lost to her, and it was my turn again) And it got the to part where she kinda grinds her body in the ground...and the big medusa face comes from under her dress...and my friends like "Omg thats what her cooch looks like" Omg...it was so funny. Guess you had to be there <_<

Metroid: Ridley... Kraid was an ass to kill and Mother Brain was just retarded... at least Ridley flew up and down
Metroid II: can you say OMEGA METROIDS? there were about 4 of them... always got my heart pumping when the Zetas would evolve! and lets not forget the Metroid Queen... morphball fun!
Metroid III: Let's see... Crocomire... that lizard guy won't die! Freakin' scared the shit out of me when he popped back up! Ridley as usual... dunno what it is about that flying guy but damn! OHHHH and the Final Mother Brain duel. HYPER BEAM!
Metroid Fusion: SA-X anyone? Killing your clone is really somethin else! The Ridley battle on this one should've been harder... and they could've made Ridley not yell too much. oh and the security robot!
Metroid Prime: Meta-Ridley :O orgasmic!
Metroid Prime 2: All the Dark Samus battles!
Megaman X: Chill Penguin... just cuz hes the first guy you gotta kill for the dash
Megaman X2: Overdrive Ostrich... i love it when he jumps into the screen! and Zero's battle if you dont recover his parts! and Sigma too!
Final Fantasy X: Yunalesca, Braska's Final Aeon, and Yu Yevon... those are all on par, BUT i love how you gotta kill all your aeons!
Bauldur's Gate: Onyx Giant... not really a boss but hey... love the sword he drops, Xantam, Eldrith, hehe fun!
Champions of Norrath: OMG the giant spider! its fun to play with more than 2 players... you just run away hoping to not get killed so you get the loot after any boss fights! Innoruuk
Champions: Return to Arms: the giant spiders! uhm the giant guy in the plane of war... (i havent finished this one yet)
Tekken 4: Heihachi! lol funny looking and a bitch to kill sometimes
Tekken 5: Jinpachi ugh stupid fireball, but it does feel nice when you kill the asshole...

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker: Ganondorf... and the Temple of the Gods guardian...
Chrono Trigger: LAVOS... all three stages
Super Paper Mario: Luigi, Bowser, Mimi, Francis, the Guardian of the Pit of 100 trials
Sword of Mana: Thanatos (btw this is one of my favorite games)
Final Fantasy Adventure: (i forgot his name) the last boss near the mana tree
Super Mario Bros. 2: Wart... memorable! and Fryguy... whodve thunk it'd split up! Triclyde was awesome too!
Super Star Saga: (i actually forgot the name of the game :O) but Bowletta was :O gash!

MGS: Sniper battles. I love these fights because they require your time and patience. Sniper Wolf is still amazing to fight.
Final Fantasy 6: Kefka. Forget the crappy bosses in the newer FF games, this guy is just pure evil.

LEVEL 99 - Tetris. Not necesarily a boss but an accomplishment!

The Clown - Dead Rising. Eeeeeeeek

Shang Tsung - MK. Cool boss.

heh i forgot about Abyssion... that fight took a while

and Metroid Prime... meh... the Ing Emperor was a better boss for me

never played Ocarina of Time...

and yeah, SA-X... It would have been cool if you got to kill all the SA-X's

Evrae and Evrae Altana The 1st one was a pain but the 2nd was just pathetic hehe.

I think there was a boss like that in FFVII, the one you fight at the end of Cosmo Canyon?
There are probably a lot others like that too but I can't remember...

Omfg dude...it was so funny. Barret had died and i was like omfg I need to heal him. So I accidently used Life of the boss and I was like...fucking @ I just waisted it...then it killed him and I was like O_O.

Oh...another one of my favorites( This totally should of made it on my list) was the Exor from Super Mario RPG... the big sword on the top of bowsers castle. I LOVED that boss battle. That was a hard boss battle for me...until i used geno whirl on the exor (after you knock out the barrier from the eyes and mouth) and it did 9999 damage... That was after loosing to it like 12 times. I was so pissed...But happy.

Yep you had to wait until he stopped then stomp a piller on the other side to hurt him. It was different than just using eggs and his little orange nose was cute

We all have differnet points of view. I say FF7 created a world for me that the others didn't, but FF6 was less than a bee's dick behind on my list.

I can accept others' opinions that 6 beats 7.

6 reaches them the same way that 7 reaches me.

I'll tell you what I pick up about Zack... But I only just beat The cosmo canyon boss...Not to into the game yet.
