your first coffee

There are only two places I've ever had coffee that I've even sort of liked.

One was the café au lait at the Café du Monde in New Orleans, where the brew is half milk, part chicory, and heavily sweetened.

The other, oddly enough, was the main train station in Chennai (then still called Madras in English). I had taken an overnight train there from Mysore via Bangalore, and I needed some caffeine, and for some reason nobody seemed to be selling tea in that station, only coffee.

Of course, I did ultimately have tea other places in town, but I noticed that, at least back then, coffee was very much dominant over tea in Chennai, something which I didn't find true even in other places in Tamil Nadu, let alone other places in the rest of India.

When I used to visit my Sister in Ocean County her house backed up to the rear of a WaWa.

I noticed a hint of Cedar oil scent immediately after pouring extremely hot coffee into that paper cup.

The cedar oil aromatics really worked well together with thier coffee.

2 cents of observation :)

Wawa is a very clever chain.

When I was a young child, I was extremely fond of the Wawa goose in the signs, which I saw on our annual trips to see the grandparents in Philadelphia.
