Here's mine (this isn't mine because I dont want to give away the serial number but its the same coin in the same grade, only I beieve mine is closer to a MS-64 and this is a much better scan then I can provide). Its a 1907 "High Releif" $20 St. Gaudens Gold Piece. Its the certpicece of my US Coin and Currency Collection.
At auction it will bring between $30,000-$60,000 US depending on the demand of the bidders.

I'm partial to all my framed Fillmore posters; wasn't there "in the day" but I like looking at them. One just like mine from an earlier period went an auction for 4000 dollars the other day . . . now I want to keep them in a dark closet so they don't fade, sigh.

Yes. When I had just started college I went to visit a high school friend of mine in another state; his cousin had just moved away to Europe "permanently" so he let me take some of the "old posters" left behind.

I was rather greedy  .

There were a lot of handbills, too, with actual stamps on the back.

OMG see I collect a lot of rare Ozzy Osbourne / Black Sabbath Posters and I had the chance to get one from the Fillmore East like 5 years ago but didn't at the time cause I didn't have the $50 that was wanted for it. If you ever see any of the posters or handbills for sale anywere drop me a line an let me know.

Ok, no Black Sabbath in my collection, I'm afraid, but I do have the next best thing: H.P. Lovecraft! and Pink Floyd. And lots of JA/Dead, of course, including the famous skull n' roses. . . .

Have any Black Sabbath bootlegs? I've got some good-sounding ones and am always looking for more. . . .

Check out ozzyhead.com the guy who runs it is cool and has every bootleg EVER! lol he just recently got one :

Live concert from Pre-Black Sabbath band "Mythology" with Tony Iommi and Bill Ward, 7/13/68 Silloth, UK

So I have to add that one to my collection too. While I dont have many full length boots I like to collect oddball songs and B-sides

The paintings and drawings my brother gave to me would be my most valued art (NOT monetary value). I also have a few original prints of some really great photographers that I was in class with throughout highschool. Most of the prints won very large prizes in state competitions. Also, it's not mine but, my dad has a lot of World War 1 & 2 artifacts and stuff that he got from his father who was in World War 2. There's some terrific stuff there, my favorite is two hollowed out mortar shells that were engraved shortly after the war ended with all different things. My grandmother also gave my dad a lot of old drawings and paintings by native American Indians that she bought while living in El Paso. We also have some original paintings from Germany from when my grandparents lived there before coming to America. Most of our "family" owned artwork came from my grandmother. My mom has inherited a few original drawings from her father of Downtown Chicago in the early 1900's. I think that's about it for immediate family. I have an aunt in Chicago that's an avid collector and has beautiful pieces throughout her entire home. One of her most recent pieces she picked up from a university student that creates an optical illusion when in the right light. I haven't seen it in person but I hear it's very trippy.

My most prized object-d'art is my antique chinese porcelain vase. It is covered with 100's of white cranes, on a green background. I tried to count them all once, and I think I lost count at around 400. I pity the poor person who had to paint it!!!

My grandmother gave me 4 hand painted Grandma Moses tea cups valued at approximately $2500.00. I remember drinking out of them as a child and now wonder how she EVER let us do that...

I have never considered a work of art's value in a monetary way. I have always bought paintings and sculpture according to my means at that time.

Every single work of art in my home is valued highly, it wouldn't be there otherwise. All my paintings and sculptures have been purchased according to the criteria "I must have that". If I don't get that feeling then it doesn't get bought whatever the price.

They haven't been bought as investments but as objects with which I fell in love, cherish and felt added beauty to my home.
All my sculptures are on view in my gallery.

Here is the most recent which at present gets the most attention as it is new. Can't stop myself running my hands over him as I walk past.
