It would be impossible for me to pick favourites because I have sooooo many, so I decided to interpret 'timeless' as having a special meaning or connection for me.....

My Top 10 (in alphabetical order)

1. abba - "ring ring"
2. abba - "arrival"
3. bangles - "different light"
4. crowded house - "crowded house"
5. whitney houston - "whitney"
6. icehouse - "man of colours"
7. kylie minogue - "kylie"
8. pretenders - "get close"
9. village people - "can't stop the music (soundtrack)"
10. various - "1987 let's party"

Some of them may seem like odd choices, but they were the first ten albums I ever bought/received so they have a lot of sentimental value and fond memories for me. Even after 20+ years, I still get tingles when I listen to them - remembering the thrill of buying/unwrapping them and the excitement and anticipation of pressing play/putting the needle down for the first time. I still get those feelings now whenever I get a new CD, but because these were my first and I got them at such a young age (from 8-10), the feelings are/were extra-special.

My "desert island" CD. It's held up beautifully, although Ernesto Phillips and Renee Diggs are no longer with us.
