I'm very outgoing in all aspects apart from my dating life. For that I am incredibly introverted. The clashing confuses a lot of people.

Although I am an extrovert in my professional life, I am very much an introvert in my private life (yes...that does make sense).

You asked the question if it "works" for me.

Being shy is a curse in marketing, so I developed this outgoing guy, and everyone who knows me, knows that "that guy" is my public persona.
Once I work with someone for awhile, I become more of myself (it's truly the soft spoken voice that is the difficulty at meetings, when I need to create enthusiasm and all that stuff).

In the end, I am not unhappy being shy/quiet, I just adjust when necessary. ;)

I'm an Introvert.

Its been a hindrance I would say.
 
Extrovert mostly, depending on the situation, sometimes you get in those situations where it is best to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool, than open it and remove all doubt. If it is a new group or situation, am reserved, but once I get the lay of the land, open up. It works well for me.

Now I know some people whose best and only form of birth control is their personality.
 
I have a split personality. I can be the life of the party, outgoing and fun. Other times I'm sad and withdrawn. Whether or not my personalty is an aid or a hindrance depends on which personality is dominate at the time.

What there is of my said Personality, is most shy, even more so introvered and all of this to the point where by I cannot even locate myself much of the time.

Those who need or want(?) to find moi, usually know where I am. It is no state secret. Those who do not care where I might be and or am, there is no purpose in telling them where i am anyway.:confused:

When one has no sense of one's value nor any sense that any one else may have said value of said one, that really leaves one with little to go by. Does it not? (Quote - origins unknown.)
