What shall we do with them?

I want to be fed to wild animals, but that's unlikely, so I will have to settle for a burial. No coffin. I want to ultimately become one with nature.

I want to be cremated. After that I want my ashes spread in the cornfield next to my childhood home. But I really wouldn’t care if they were just thrown in the trash. I’ve told my family I’ll haunt anyone that keeps them.

I want to be cremated and have the ashes spread out in the ocean. I tell my family and friends, after my death, when you open that next can of tuna fish, I may be part of it. :D

I don't care so long as I am cremated. If someone wants to do something special with them, go ahead. It won't affect me

I’m with you. There is a 90’s song which sums up your view nicely and I will quote it here in part.

“Only in death can one truly return,
Return the carrots the apples & potatoes
The chickens the cows the fish and tomatoes
In one glorious swoop let the deed be done
And bury me deep so I can be one”

Cremation and buried with family.

Except my penis and testicles will be stuffed.

I'm not sure, but old enough that I should make a decision soon. I'm leaning towards cremation and burial.

I want the cheapest casket, no embalming and a quick viewing by family then burial in the small cemetery where my dad and his family are buried.

Not sure if I wanna be cremated or have a funeral but I already have a grave stone where my grandma and her husband and my dad are and I'd be buried with them

I remember Dan, the druggist on the corner, he was never mean or ornery, he was swell.
He killed his mother-in-law and ground her up real well - and sprinkled just a bit - over each banana split.

There is a company here in Australia who’ll pack you up in fireworks and once all permissions have been gained, the family and friends gather on the shore. They have a party and after dark, the fireworks are let off and away you go. Scattered to the heavens to then gently drift back to the ocean. That’s how I’m going!

Crermation seems so unimaginative.

As long as people have been dying, you'd think we'd have more choices, like the ones on blenders from the 60's. Puree, frappe, chop, mix, liquify, blend, pulse, high . . .

With funerals, it's all burn or turn. Why can't we be frozen, pixellated, laminated, woven into rugs, melted as candles, turned into blue toilet bowl cleaning cakes for the tank, or made into pool noodles?

I'm donating my body to science after I die. They pick me up as soon as possible after I pass and harvest any viable organs, bone, tissues, etc. I hope I am helpful to others even after my death. My body will be studied by medical students to further their knowledge of anatomy and disease. My remains will be cremated and returned to my family. There is no cost whatsoever to me or my family. I have requested that my ashes be scattered at my favorite vacation spot. Whether that comes about is out of my hands. I put in my request, it's up to them to honor it. After all Iwon't know, will I?
