I don't know about everyone else but I have found some great music just by browsing Youtube. There is a lot of good, interesting, funny, and often weird music out there. Here are some that I have found that I really liked (I have a very strange and diverse taste in music). I'll also list my favorite songs for each.

Vienna Teng - Lullaby for a Stormy Night

Heather Dale (Celtic singer who often sings about Arthurian legend) - Mordred's Lullaby

Avenue Q (music from the Broadway musical) - Everyone's a Little Bit Racist

The Blanks (a capella group known for their part in the TV show Scrubs) - The Ballad of Jimmy Durante

Others I liked were the Fall Out Boy version of "What's This?" from The Nightmare Before Christmas, the Marilyn Manson version of "This is Halloween" from the same movie, Blitzen Trapper's "Furr," Chromeo's "Mamma's Boy," "Freeze and Explode" by Cassettes Won't Listen, and many many more.

If you've found any cool music, please share with the group. :D

I randomly wanted to find a weird/interesting video so I typed in "gloves".

They're one of the best bands I know now.

Those are some crazy British dudes. Definitely interesting music.

Yeah for some reason my youtube video posts on here never show up.

I loved that initial feeling of going to a party full of shit-faced people screaming in your ear while your drunk when I listened to it. Their new stuff is fantastic such as "Mirror's Image" and "Sea Within A Sea".

When you use the "Youtube" tags, you don't need the whole URL for the video. You just need the part after the = sign.

For instance, if the URL was
<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdD0LjqiuE0>

you would type
<YOUTUBE>NdD0LjqiuE0</YOUTUBE>

except with brackets instead of > and <.

Then it would show up as:

Easier still, just Copy the code from the URL box at the top of the browser (NOT the 'embed' code beneath the video) and Paste it without tags or icons or anything, and JUB will do all the encoding for you.

This little, stick-figure 'animation' has seemingly spawned a whole genre of home-made, YouTube videos, and I remember, laughing my head off when I first saw it (and I think it's still funny!)

"I HATE you so much right now. I HATE you so much right now... AAAAAAAHH!!"

I LOL'd at that every time. :rotflmao:

How could I ever have forgotten – however temporarily – about this mastur-piece?…
