I do, but then again I may just be crazy. I know for a fact that some of you won't, some of you will find these videos deeply disturbing. I'll probably get some replies with inch-tall red letters saying I'm an asshole for even hanging around with these guys, and that I should know better. Backstory:
Almost all of my buds are from the same platoon in the Marine corps. They're all about to leave for Iraq in a few weeks (which I am fairly bent out of shape about), so we had a big blowout at my pad for all the guys. It was huge, my house was filled to the top with marines!

The next day there were still 5 guys left over, and we started drinking again pretty much as soon as the sun came up. By lunchtime we were well and truly drunk again, and when these guys get plastered, they get funny as hell. They do all kinds of crazy shot that I only wish I had got on video...one guy even took out his cock and tried to shove it in his friend's face, but his buddy punched him in the balls and he fell down on the floor in pain. Maybe you had to be there.

I was going to let this pass...but I just can't.

A) I knew someone would be sensitive about it, even though it's clearly a joke and he doesn't think I'm a "faggot". In fact, if anyone actually called me a faggot and meant it, these guys would put that idiot in the hospital, if not the mortuary. The guys were over last night and one of the local bartenders, who is very gay and very out and who none of the marines here have any problem with at all, was over here as well and was shown the love many times over. I get kissed (on the cheek). None of these guys has any problems with gay men, and in fact I find the majority of them to be more tolerant than most gay men I know. I have lived in San Francisco and never felt as safe or as comfortable there as I do here with my boys.

B) He mispelled "faggot" because he's from the Ukraine and english is his second language. But go ahead, make fun...even though frankly he speaks better english than many americans.

So in short, they're the best friends I've ever had, and the exact opposite of 'douches'. I don't blame you for misunderstanding, if you haven't known marines you can't know how cool they really are. That's why I consider myself their ambassador of sorts...I just want the world to know that they really are the friendliest, most tolerant, forgiving people you could ever meet, and they protect me as if I was one of their own. I count myself as very lucky to know them, and they make me feel very safe because if anyone ever did try to fuck with me because of my sexuality, it would be the last time they ever tried something so foolish.

Anecdote: We were out at a bar a few weeks ago, and two guys were dirty danncing with each other, one a marine and one a very obviously gay civilian. People were giggling and stuff but only one guy was upset--another civilian, who almost tried to start some trouble with the gay guy. The marines all came to the gay guy's defense. I put this question to all of you: if you were out at a straight bar full of big beefy straight guys in your town, would they come to your defense?

I hope that I have helped you to see these guys in a new way.

My straight guy friends are the same way, we are lucky to have such great friends. Great story about the Ukranian guy growing up peerless. So weird.

Man, I think that was a great post and good vids.
Sure the guys were crude in language and attitudes toward women, girlfriends.... But I'd guess that when any of them decide to marry a girl they will treat their wife the the upmost repect, and if any guy talked about their wife as these guys do towards single women the guy would get a quick chop in the jaw.

Yeah, these guys come across as crude.... after a few drinks most young guys that are in the service would probably be the same way.

I especiallly appreciate the guy from the Ukraine. Joining the US Armed Forces may be his way of finding legitimate work in this country and I'm thankful that he's done so. Far better that than joining some gang and dealing coke, or worse.

Yeah, these guys may be rough and crude to some ways of thinking, but they are doing work that lot's of us wouldn't do. I say God Bless them for their service and contribution to our country.

Hey guys, thanks for all your cool comments. I really didn't think anyone was hating...it would be easy to assume, if you didn't know these guys, that they were being mean by writing that on my ass. Even my best friends from SF have worried about me hanging out with a bunch of ass-kicking marines, because you DO hear stuff.
