Does Zodiac signs really matter????

I got a message from a guy this morning saying that we might have a connection. I looked at his profile today, and he has everything I'm looking for, and I have everything he is looking for. I saw his Zodiac sign, and looked at the compatibility of his and mine.

Here's what it said:

I have a book called Sextrology that is really in-depth with pairings and listing each zodiac. It's fun, I think all of the Leo signs fit me from what I read, except two of them, but I don't remember which they were. Same thing for my BF, all but two applied to him too. I like the book since it also lists gay relationships completely aside from straight ones, same as turn-ons and things like that. Broken down into straight female x zodiac, lesbian x zodiac, straight male x zodiac, and gay male x zodiac.

As a Scorpio let me say that there's a lot of truth in the signs.

I've found that when you look at it you'll find a great deal of truth in what is said about compatability on the various levels.

I know I have a bad habit of being interested in Cancers whether I realize it or not. They fit me very well. Not that others don't attract my attention.

Yes, and Virgo often focus on details, and smart (I'm not sure about this:p). But I really think that relationship actually depend on your compatibility in hobbies, way of life, point of view etc... not just your sign. But horoscope sometime tells right about people, just consider it as a suggestion ;) and for fun.

I wonder what made him talk to me??? Because we are not really compatible. I'll ask him tonight what made him wanna talk to me.

I myself am a Cancer and this is my first relationship with another Cancer and we both get along extremely well. best relationship I have had.

In the past though I normally get with Pisces. For some reason I am usually attracted to them...

My friends always tend to be Virgos or Scorpios and for some reason I detest Aquariuses

It's a placebo. It works because people want it to work. They hook up with a guy, they find out they're "not that compatible", they find reasons why the guy "isn't ideal", and break up. Then they find someone who is "compatible", feel they need to work through any problems that come up (since they're "so compatible"), and thus the relationship works.

Sorry. I think it's bullshit. The time of the year you're born doesn't affect your personality or compatibility in the slightest. Your upbringing and your childhood completely outweigh your zodiac sign. According to the compatibility chart, I should be extremely close to my brother, and have major difficulties with my sister and both parents. No and no.

I've had a few people want to "run my chart", so I've let them. But, as a lark, I've given them fake dates of birth, just to see what they come up with. So far, I'm a total Libra, a perfect example of a Sagittarius, and couldn't be any more like a Leo if I tried. Funny that.

I agree with G-Lex that it is a total farce, and it's so general it can work if you want it hard enough.

With that said I can't help but observe people and guess their signs, for fun.

Also, Scorpio is my favorite sign ever, even though I'm Picses.
 
I'm a Libra and it fits me to a T. I can't really get with Geminis!! They're too shady.....and virgos are crazee :) haha jk it's never a deal-breaker
 
I didn't think zodiac signs mattered much until I got an astrological chart done on me. They only asked for my name, dob, birthplace, etc, but it was so accurate on a lot of things.

It was $25 and 18 pages long. It looks closely at your zodiac sign and the planetary alignments and stuff and tells you about yourself. There were things in there that nobody knows about me so now I am a believer and I think our zodiac signs have a lot to do with the way we are.

I'm a typical virgo by the way..
