I hate for this to be my first post, but I don't see a mention of Zach Harrington, 19 (Oklahoma)

Apparently I can't post a link about him since I am so new but if you do a search on LGBTQNation or NewsOK you will find it.

This is really terrible.

I am donating some money to the Trevor Project.

I will probably have more to say about all of this when I can get my thoughts in order. I am older (almost 41) but can remember being that age (18-25) and being uncomfortable with myself...

I think I should qualify what I said in my last sentence. I also had trouble during high school; I was perceived as being gay, but did not get bullied, although people did keep their distance from me. Anyway, I don't want to distract from the focus here. I just wanted to give more context. Thanks for reading.

“We must look beyond the term “bullying” to the overall treatment of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community to begin to grasp the long-standing epidemic of suicide among our LGBT youth.

In recent years, we’ve labeled the cause as bullying.
