As a kid I had a great uncle that drank beer that was named “Beer”. It came in a bottle and under the cap there was puzzles. Are these still around?

it's called "Private Stock" and it's still around

Are you sure it wasn't Mickey's???

It SEEMS like they USED to have a bottle that just said BEER...

And they used to play the bottle cap puzzles...

Although -- where YOU live -- there are a LOT of small independent breweries -- was it that way back then???

:):):)

I looked that up and I don't think that is it. Thoses were 40s. What I am thinking about is just regular small brown bottles with a white label and black letters saying "Beer". They were really cheap and sold in cases.

If it was a white label (in the early 80's) it could be, but I am fairly sure the brand name was "Beer".

Think of the cheapest brand of beer you can, then go down a notch.

Anyways I just talked to my brother and he said they stopped making it years ago. Are there any brands now that have puzzles?

Now that I think about it I have a feeling the product I am asking about was just a small regional beer. I doubt anyone not from the area would know what I am talking about.

whose talking about Mickey big gulp?

Ah its that truck driver guy, cool enough.

You think you can stop by the chicken coop at Manchester TN, those sorry fucks shut me down again cause of a lose nut on my trailer tandem. I'm tired of waiting for a mechanic and could use a few jugs of Mickeys right now

...could have been worse I could have been on 40 at Brownsville then I would have been busted for such a offense.

omg. never had 'Beer', but the memories came hurtling back from a dinner we had in Italy when I was studying there (back in the days of daVinci, yeah, yeah, whatever) and they brought out the 4 litre jugs of wine...labelled Bianco and Rosso. That was it.

I can still remember the hangover 30 years on.

I'd like to try 'Beer'.

I used to see it at swimming holes a lot. It was very popular in the summer on hot days, when taking a break from the river -- temperature and alcohol become more important than flavor. I haven't seen any in quite a while.

I heard beer too - who has beer?

We have fruit juice in Australia that under the lid is a riddle question. Frankly it's the reason I buy it

God only knows what I do if beer came with riddles as well.

Was it common for there to be puzzles under bottle caps?

Are you good at solving them?
