"Repent, Harlequin!"
I have been wanting to get two tattoos for a while now, but have not done so. One of the tattoos I want will read “Within death lies immortality”. My question is do you believe it to be true?

Did you mean to say "immortality?"
I'm curious to know how you interpret it...
Glad you sorted out the spelling, and I hope the tatooist uses a spell checker to!
Hmm...where did you hear that saying?
Just curious.I like how it sounds, but it is macabre.
But that's my thing....if it makes you happy, get it.![]()
I have every intention of getting it eventually. First though I want one in Chinese over my heart that says, “Love above honor, honor above all else”. That is my personal motto and is kind of important to me.
Sounds cool, am i right in interpreting it as love is honour?
anywho, as to the immortality one, yea it sounds cool, but i, being devils advocate would think that from your explanation, it should infact be "within life lies immortality", as its the expression we make when alive that determines if/how we are remembered, alternatively, and i think perhaps much more poetically than the life line, "within love lies immortality".
But yea, just stuff to think about, if you want it go for it!
Oh, and with the chinese one, make sure you get a friend you trust to do the translation, unless of course you know chinese yourself.

You'd better find good money to pay for a good artist. Anything that long just screams not enough space. Why not get something innovative instead?
