The first reply to your question got it right. So many sites were taken down when the new law said the owner of the site had to have documented proof that all models were 18 or older. So is is goodbye to the likes of O Holds Barred, Abdul's great photographs, and the aforementioned About Face, and many others.

And while those models on their sites were of age, they were no longer available to provide that written proof.

The irony of that law that covers the USA is that you can still see some underage kids from sites that are based in other countries, mainly those in Europe, some in South America and then in Asia. And then if you are a USA citizen, you are in trouble when and if you download any underage pictures and have them on your own computer.
 
0 Holds Barred was one of the granddaddies of internet porn and is long gone, thanks to the puritanical rightwing morons who think they own the internet. Often imitated but never duplicated, 0 Holds Barred was one of the best porn sites there ever was and probably ever will be. The so-called "laws" that caused the shutdown of 0 Holds Barred are still being fought in the courts today and probably will be for years to come. This was, sadly enough, a victory for internet censorship and the internet hasn't been the same since.
 
Those laws are farcical - don't these people know that they will never be able to filter the internet. They are looking at bringing in similar laws in Australia, going down the US path as always. Whatever happened to civil liberties?!
