001 .....files ?? ?

i d'loaded these gr8? cumshot clips frm ********** but cant play them
it says they are .001,.002 ...... so on kinda files what do i do im gettin bloody blue balls tryin to figure it out

Or you could extract the file from them by using WinRAR. Just make sure you put an "R" at the end of the dot, but before the numbers.

I doubt so. Plain numbers are usually just split, unpacked files. r01, r02 are usually packed files. Renaming and opening them using WinRAR might result in an error.

Well...some players CAN play just 001 files, but not many. They won't play any of the others though unless you join them.

Anyone know how to join them when the first video is just .0? The program I have now only joins videos starting at .001. I tried renaming it and that didn't work.

Well, often ".000" is just a proprietary "legend" (index) file of sorts for whatever splitter program is used; it basically tells it how many parts to expect, the CRC of each part (unique value), each part's size, etc. Typically it's optional and you can just feed the .001 to the joiner program just fine. But if you do have a .000 file available, you might get some enhanced functionality from the join program. Most good join programs will alert you to any problems even without it.

There are different softwares which cut files. Some of them create files named like this xxx.001, 002... (HJsplit, CutKiller). Other : xxxx.0, xxxx.1... (Hacha). I use Xtremsplit : it can paste files cut by these softwares.
