he was like 17 or something like that cant remember.
i knew the guy and still kinda do.
he got married last year, didnt go cos it would of felt awkard.
here it goes.
we did everything.
all that is considered man on man sex.
i havent had sex with a girl yet but i did with a guy.
when people ask me if im a virgin i say yeah.
im not ashamed or anything like that
what should i consider my self
a virgin or no.
hmmm i guess its kinda like 1/2 because i had sex with a guy but not a girl yet.
auughhh dont know.
what do you guys think.
opinions?
comments welcomed.
p.s im totally in the closet
about all this.

Welcome to JUB!

I think your answer is both technically correct, and probably the wisest one. You won't have to answer any uncomfortable questions that might follow from a "yes" answer.

But really, it's a matter of semantics. The real overriding question is - what do you want to do now?

You are a full on v when something happens to you when you are at that age, it doesnt count in my book.TAKE CARE

well, according to you, most gay men would be 1/2 virgin. In my opinion, if you actually had sex with a person, then your not a virgin. If you just had oral, that's a iffy subject, some says yea it count as sex, some says no it doesnt.

if youre gay = not a virgin
if youre bi = 1/2 virgin

just say yeah, if youre bi. you might get a few offers to lose it.

You had sex with someone when you were 8 and he was 17? Isn't that child abuse on his part? Am I the only one that thinks that?

people here do not want to talk about under age sex ... so leave it at that.

I don't see why it matters to anyone whether you are a virgin.

You're not a girl and this isn't 1258 AD.

I don't understand this whole "I'm a virgin" thing that seems to be pretty prevalent on JUB. I may just be old and out of touch, but it really seems odd to me. Has this "virgin thing" become a bigger deal since we have a bible beater in the White House wanting to teach abstinence-only sex education?

Seriously the only virgin I care about is Virgin Airlines, Virgin America & Virgin Records. :)

I think the whole 'OOOh I'am a virgin and so special and morally superior' thing creepy. Particulalry since it seems to always hinge on technicalities.

It is making me favour the concept of original sin again.

I blame Hannah Montana.

I actually find "the virgin thing" to be rather nice, myself. I like the idea of waiting until one is really ready, and finding someone special to do it for the first time. I know other people don't feel that way, and I can respect that, and have no problem with it. Unless those people think we're "creepy" - in which case, suddenly I do.

We all go ahead in life at our own pace. Some jump straight in the deep end of the pool, while others slowly wade down the steps into the shallow end. I think it's time both sides stopped viewing their technique as either the "correct" or "superior" one.

I'm not sure if I agree that it's creepy, but it is odd and you are quite right about the "hinging on a technicality". I did see a report that due to the current sex ed and wanting to be a "virgin" many straight girls are having anal sex, and oral sex since this doesn't violate their "chastity pledges" they have sworn to.

Great....your daughter is "chaste", but letting her boyfriend splooge in her ass, and swallowing his meat popscicle and choking down his cock snot.... but hey.... at least she still a virgin... technically. :grrr: Odd.

^It is not silent virginity that I find creepy. It is the idea of technical virginity that I find creepy, or the idea that someone thinks they are superior because they are a 'virgin' and feel that they have to browbeat everyone into acknowledging that their purity just makes everyone else look dirtier.

I really am indifferent as to whether someone decides not to have sex.
