The books are fantastic and the TV series does justice to them, Anika Noni Rose is hilarious!
 
I caught a bit of an episode last week. It seems a good show. I am very interested in the novels now.

We've been reading all the books. We'll probably just get it on video so that we can watch it at leisure.
