Male:

Micheal Jackson
Elvis (of course)

i mean come on...some are just plain crazy...How can Reba macentire...be on anyones list....i love country but...please compare reba to Mariah, Whitney, Amy Whinehouse, Beyonce, Michael Jackson....Come on...be real. There are others but when i saw that i was shocked....to each his own of course but there are some singers who are staples, ground breakers, the celebs of all celebs.

Please, bitch. Reba can outsing all of those singers easily today, though she might have struggled to outsing Whitney in her heyday. And if you love country, you would be able to spell Reba's last name correctly.

Reba didn't make my short list either but I feel it's a moral imperative to defend her greatness at this juncture, and criticize your spelling of Amy Winehorse as well. So, Reba is cool and na na na na na! you can't spell Winehouse with more than one 'H' :gogirl:well you can but it's wrong.

There. I feel the weight on my shoulder has been greatly reduced. Thanks for you patience in this, my endeavor. You've been nothing but cooperative to this point. I withdraw all curses; you are safe again.

Please u got the wrong one...watch your mouth when you address me i got your bitch anyways

This is her best live performance ever....her voice is amazing...and she really shows her vocals at the end...and how she can hold notes...shes one of the best (if not the best) female vocalist.

Reba...lol...please When mainstream society talks about singers her name is no where to be mentioned or thought up in anyone's head. Reba is good but she will never be great.
Beyonce is not the best vocalist. At times her voice takes on this really unpleasant tone. And in like in these 2 clips she does often this weird echo effect to her mic that makes her voice sound grander than it really is.

Neither of those performances has anything on Reba in her vocal prime.

Maria Callas -- I'm totally serious. Singing 'Casta Diva!' from Bellini's 'Norma'.

How could anyone call Mariah Carey, Beyonce, or Whitney 'Divas'?

A 'diva' is a coloratura soprano in the Bel Canto tradition. 'Brava, Diva!', not 'you go, girl!'

None of your lists mention James Hetfield and are therefore invalid.

Good day.

She has a very soulful voice, yet also has that perfect amount of edge to it. She can sing Rock, R and B, Gospel, Soul, Jazz, Punk, Pop etc. She may not be THE greatest singer of all time, but her sheer versatility and rock-solid stability definitely make her one of the most under-rated singers in the industry today.

She can sing perfectly live, every time with NO pitch problems and no need for Autotune or other effects. She can even sing a studio-perfect performance while spinning upside down. You have to admit that's talent.
