they showed the egss on the Paul O'Grady show here in the UK yesterday... Paul nearly threw up with the stench - god only knows why you'd want to eat them :)

Why? Because it tastes delicious. Yum yum yum. It's really tantalising when you're chewing it and you can feel the small bones being crunched up between your teeth. Sometimes you can sense something funny in your mouth and you can use your fingers to pick out a bit of feathers. It's really tasty.

You're reallllllly twisted, you know that. . . .

^ Lungs are fabulous when prepared appropriately. I love cow's lung. Blanch the whole piece of lung. Then slice them not-so thinly. Stir fry them with chillies, garlic & spices. Season with salt. Stir fry until its quite dry and serve hot with rice. Yum!..|

OMFG....this is a Chinese delicacy *gag*. They age the egg for a 100 days and supposedly it's delicious. I'd rather eat pussy, thank you very much! Anyway, has anybody had this..."delicacy?" More gruesome details here:

They're actually not that bad to eat. There's a stink to them, and the transparent tea coloured "white" is like a thick set jelly. The yolk is kinda creamy-ish in texture. Don't knock it till you've tried one. They also have rather nice patternation on the yolk after peeling.

Ugh, I hate qien lian dan! ewww....but my other family members usually have one or two int he fridge. I guess they use it for congee...but still...

Blech. Whut dut.

Durians are banned because once opened their stench can fill an entire hotelw ithin a matter of minutes and it takes a carbon filter cleaner to get it out.

That shit is also nasty. My grandfather loves it, but the rest of us keep our distance. My dad likes tot ell this story where inhis youth in Hong Kong, his grandpa fed the dog some durian and the dog ate it, walked a few steps away, whimpered and fell over. I'm sure it got up later,t hough.

Pew!

They're awful...they smell like rotten seafood and garbage. When youe at it, it hits you that much harder.

Ugh!

I don't find them so gross... but anyways... I don't like eggs.
