Post a TV show's opening credits from the 1970's, the cheesier the better. I'll start with "Eight is Enough." That Grant guy was a hunk.

Ah, yes. Grant Goodeve.

*sigh*

He appeared in a episode of Murder She Wrote wearing a Speedo.

Very nice indeed!

*sigh again*

Although the show itself was pretty good. It's a revered TV classic in Spain and I understand it was quite popular in Sweden back then too

Those two I don't actually remember, but I think it's better that way

It's cheesier in Spanish

... and it's not easy to get any cheesier than Parchís http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parchís_(group)

After reviewing most of those, I can say one thing: OMG! Glad I missed most of that!

For most of the 70's we didn't have a TV. We lived in the Mountains, and Cable TV hadn't been invented yet!

(Well, there WAS such a thing in our neighborhood...someone that owned the top of a nearby mountain put an antenna on the top, and for $5 a month he would allow the neighbors to tap into the line...to get all of two channels...KOA-TV, the NBC affiliate and KRMA-PBS.)
