thee largest production car ever made - measuring in at 235.3 inches

I have been doing word searches to find what is the largest car they currently make but the results keep including SUV's Trucks - and custom cars like Rolls and Bentleys... anyone know if they still make any HUGE production cars?

I don't think so...the Maybach is still 5.462m ...it must still be one of the longest currently in production.

But the extended RR Phantom is 5.770 m

But for all intents and purposes, these are more like haute couture than Prêt-à-Porter....

A neighbor that died still had a 70's Chrysler Newport that he drove. The trunk had to be half of the car. It was huge.

Actually the Cadillac Fleetwood series 75 was the longest production car ever made at 250 inches. There was a standard sedan model and also came in a limousine model that had a roll up window to separate the driver and passengers. My dad’s boss drove one new from ‘73 until he died in the 90s. He had a special parking space at work so it would fit

After his death his son kept it in the workshop under a tarp.

^ yeah most of the sites have different cars listed as the longest - a few of them list the 60 Lincoln - the Fleetwood may have not been listed because it is customized like you say to create Limos

Rolls is def not a production car

hadn't considered the Maybach - I was thinking of American cars - I have never owned a foreign car - it seems weird to me that there is NO customer base for a single massive American production car

Well, at 264 inches (6.71 m), this automobile classifies and a "long one". . .but it certainly isn't a production model :rotflmao:
