I was reading this article where they said that 90s music kinda fell off the face of the planet..and no radio stations really cater to 90s music....and now that I think about it...I agree....

Lots of good stuff in the 90s....

Everything But The Girl....Missing

Ace of Base...Beautiful Life

Someone said these guys are spreading Nazi messages in their videos...I can't see it....

I was a kid in 90's, but my Mother had an Ace of Base Cassette tape and I was all about it. I listened to it endlessly. Don't like it much now, but my Mother also owned Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette, used to listen to that a lot as well.

These songs bring back memories- so great ! Loved dancing to them - thanks for posting eastofeden.
I especially enjoyed Reach.

Janet Jackson is so full of joy and love that she lifted everyone's spirits with each album release.

Hey guys, how does that old saying go?

"Baby, It Ain't Over 'til It's Over"

I was a big fan and still am of alternative rock music. Some of my favorite artist of all time had major hits in the 90's. REM, Smashing Pumkins, Hole, Garbage, Oasis, Pearl Jam just to name a few.

Oh yeah!
Smashing Pumpkins, Oasis and Pearl Jam. Very nice Silverfuck, just Stay Tuned.

Here's an old school favorite of mine from the hot Summer nights of 1991.
(if i were you, i'd turn up the volume)

I spent most of the decade listening to dance music blaring in my ears 6 hours a night...so I mostly listened to jazz music at home...but I did like most of the dance music...

Crystal Waters...Gypsy Woman

The song that made me stop and listen. The 90's were still Rockin'.

THIS IS MY THREAD.

Where do I begin? With a Timbaland classic.

Here's a list of favorites that come to mind:
  • Alanis Morissette's "Hand in My Pocket," "You Learn" and "Thank You"
  • Annie Lennox's "Why" and "No More I Love Yous"
  • Bjork's "Hyper-Ballad," "Joga," "Bachelorette"
  • The Cranberries's "Dreams," "Linger" and "Zombie"
  • Guns N' Roses's "Don't Cry," "November Rain" and "Estrange" trilogy
  • Janet Jackson's "Love Will Never Do (Without You)," "Escapade," "That's the Way Love Goes," "If," "Together Again"
  • Kylie Minogue's "Better the Devil You Know," "Put Yourself in My Place," "Where is the Feeling"
  • Live's "Lightning Crashes," "I Alone," "All Over You," "Lakini's Juice," "Dolphin's Cry," "Run to the Water"
  • Mariah Carey's "Emotions," "Dreamlover," "Fantasy"
  • Nirvana's "Heart Shaped Box"
  • Ozzy Osbourne's "No More Tears"
  • Pearl Jam's "Black" and "Better Man"
  • REM's "Shiny Happy People" and "Texarkana"
  • Roxette's "Fading Like a Flower"
  • Seal's "Kiss from a Rose"
  • Stone Temple Pilots's "Plush," "Interstate Love Song"
  • SWV's "Weak"
  • TLC's "Creep," "Red Light Special," and "Unpretty"
  • Whitney's "I Have Nothing" and "Queen of the Night"

And of course... my favorite in her best decade (IMO)... Madonna:

As a bonus here's a few of the rare 90's hits that have me change the channel whenever Downtown Julie Brown tortures me with their presence on Sirius XM's 90's on 9:
-"Ice Ice Baby" (Vanilla Ice)
-"Tubthumping" (Chumbawumba)
-"Cotton-eyed Joe" (Rednex)
-"I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" (Proclaimers)
