2 Cellos - Welcome to the Jungle

Or, possibly with these gents.

When I read the heading "How Great Thou Art", I was thinking more along these lines ...

There was one little riff from The Piano Guys that sounded familiar.

I had the good fortune of seeing George Beverly Shea, with Billy Graham, several times, when I was "dragged" to a stadium by my preacher Dad, in my younger days. Though I was always reluctant to go, I have to admit it was quite a powerful show.

It's a tremendous song. I'd like to see what "Our Boys", 2 Cellos, might do with it!

^ Part way through the piece, at the appearance of Christ the Redeemer, Jon Schmidt (piano) continues to play Gabriel's Oboe. Steven Sharp Nelson (cello) plays How Great Thou Art. It is very subtle, though, and almost fades into the background as harmony. Jon then plays a little bit of it. It's mostly Gabriel's Oboe, though.

From Twitter/Instagram - a picture of Luka from Berlin with love.

Here's a new one of the two of them - and one that we might have seen before - but what the heck ...

A bit of Bach and a wonderful rendition of Oblivion.

Oh, and the sunglasses pic? Ten of these: ..|

I thought you might be up for a bit of beach blanket bingo with the boys in that picture.

OK, a bit of serendipity. I was going through my FB feed and came across a post of a letter from a Delta Stewardess, Flight #15 on 11 September, 2001. I'd seen the post before, but I had a recent find/experience (I posted a thread here on it just as an FYI for people).
The story of Gander, Newfoundland that fateful week.

As I was surfing to get information for my post, I came across the writer's website - which has synopses of their plays, and links to their music. Come From Away is the one I am posting for, but there are others there that might be interesting, too.

I don't know what else to say about that other than ...

Wow! Awesome! YES!! \:/ (!w!) (group)
Chaz :luv:

Chaz,
If you ever have a chance to see it, it is well worth it - the power and emotion is phenomenal.

Seattle mid-November to mid-December this year, then supposed to be going to NYC.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if it won a Tony.

Hey, they're wicked talented musicians who play extensive genre from classical to contemporary rock.
That's enough to like them - but they're pretty darned good looking and down right sexy, too.

A wee bit of Vivaldi for two violins - a la Two Cellos . . .

^ That is just SO Awesome! Goes to show how Talented "Our" 2 Boys truly are! :=D: ..|

I'm also thinking it's too bad that Luka took to the cello instead of the flute. #-o

I can only imagine those long, slender, fingers of his on My flute! \:/ (!) (!w!)

Keep Smilin'!! (*8*)
Chaz :luv: :slap: :spank:

Chaz,
I think his fingering techniques from the Cello might surprise your flute and other parts.
