2 Cellos - Welcome to the Jungle

The search results list the video as 'Welcome to the Jungle'. The video lists it as 'Where the Streets Have No Name'.

Whatever the title, it's an amazing performance.

Justin Bieber sells enough sex for the both of them combined, and they have more talent in their fingernail clippings than the Biebs has in his entire body.

I agreed though, Justin Bieb is like a Miley Cyrus compared to Christina Hendrick and he can't even touch 2 cello's talent. Since you're a fan boy who do you like most? ^^

for me: I like Stjepan 'most... ..|
he ooze sex appeal to the 10th heaven

That's a different version of "Where the Streets Have No Name" than what I've heard from them before -- and I love it!

I still find this the most fascinating:

One thing I really like about them is that they were two of the best young cellists in Eastern Europe, and everyone expected them to become rivals doing classical music. But surprise! they had other ideas.

BTW, they even found themselves a cute drummer:

In this one, I love the way Luka gets that dreamy, off-in-another-realm look, almost like he's communing with some more beautiful plane of existence and happens to be sharing that with us through his cello.

I was going to say that I believe there are a few of these videos interspersed around F&G - Benderboy hasn't been hitting some of the threads like he should!

I saw this thread and felt like I was at my You Tube Home Page - I've had them in my subscribed list for awhile.

I find their more contemporary cellos fascinating - they have the solid black traditional for one sound, then the electric, where's the sound board, versions for the more contemporary pieces.

I wonder how often they have to restring their bows - they're brutal on the strings.

They're both damned sexy - and they know it. And straight.
I think Elton John's production company is repping them, IIRC. I could be wrong.

They've definitely brought the Cello into contemporary music.

I wonder what Yo Yo Ma thinks of their style.

I had the thought tonight that I'd love to hear them do a Christmas album -- they could give Mannheim Steamroller a serious run for the money!

Or for that matter, a joint concert would rock!

Them, TSO, Celtic Woman . . . that would make an interesting juxtaposition.

I wonder how often they have to restring their bows - they're brutal on the strings.

I imagine they have a scissors handy to trim them often. Take a look at the 40-second mark and you'll see what I mean.

By the way, this piece is quite different from those posted above.
