2 Cellos - Welcome to the Jungle

Hi, Guys.

A quiet day for me - I slept most of it - getting over the kidney stone/oxycodone - head was a bit fuzzy.
Family is up at the in-laws.

Keeping a Great Grand nephew in our thoughts - he is in the hospital with seizures. Quiet at the moment. An MRI scheduled for tomorrow. He's a little guy.

Except for the hospital and kidney stone, sounds like your day was just as exciting and energetic as mine.

Good thoughts going out to the 'little guy'.

Nice music to remind us of the season. Talented mixologist on the first.

I've seen the second before - liked it then, like it now.

bed head, bed hair - kinda the same thing.

Well, you guys have torches that are electric, too.
And flats, regardless of how may stories they might entail.

I like the way they combine musical styles and different songs. They shouldn't work, but they do:

To me, the overtones of The Lord of the Dance that pervades the piece calls to me. It's a great blending/interplay of music. Very Uplifiting.

Indeed. The arrangements are incredible. Like I said, they shouldn't work together, but they do.

I wonder who came up with the idea of combining Lord of the Dance with Over the Rainbow? Very clever.

Pachabel's Canon goes with just about everything - and it's the bane of the Cellist, so there's some irony there (shared/similar melody w/ Lord of the Dance to a large extent).

I know we've posted earlier performances of this, but they just uploaded this performance of Smooth Criminal at the Exit Festival.

^ That one was in overdrive all the way through and they still managed to cut in the afterburners at the end.
