On Topic Discussion 2 yo boy killed by alligator at Disney

^ Why just Florida?

I see it has been suggested, more than once in this thread, that while alligators don’t have much respect for fencing, they do respect State lines/borders.

That’s ridiculous. I don’t believe it. Surely they inhabit other southern US States, and travel between them freely.

Because Florida is the one we are outraged at right now. Until the Media tells us to be upset with another state with wild animals, then we can't call them out yet.

You don't have to worry about Louisiana. They've got the Swamp People looking out for them down there:

You just invented a new show. Troy Landry takes on DisneyWorld

I had to Google him. I recognised him, but didn't know his name. I've never seen the show (besides the promos) except for a short portion where one of them was in hospital for an alligator bite on his arm. He had one small mark on the back of his hand and another on his forearm. That was a gator bite? He'd have worse injuries in a bar fight. I couldn't watch any more than that.

Disney must have paid them more than they felt they would have gotten suing them. They won't have a lawyer (worse than an alligator) taking a 1/3 to 1/2 of the settlement

It just means that they settled out of court. And pretty heftily (is that even a word?) too I bet.
