The JD Samson led trio MEN have announced a date for the release of their new album, Talk About Body.

Founded by Le Tigre's JD Samson, Michael O'Neill (Ladybug Transistor, Princess) and Ginger Brooks Takahashi (LTTR, The Ballet), MEN's first EP, Limited Edition Demo, spoke to the issues of wartime economies, sexual compromise, and the demand of liberties. Talk About Body is a full extension of these ideals with complex, sizzling synths, wiry guitar lines, and club-ready beats.

Watch the video for "Off Our Backs" below to better your understanding of what MEN are all about.

Talk About Body arrives February 1st via IAMSOUND.

On February 7, 679/Atlantic will release Computers and Blues, the new album from Brit-rap producer and rambler Mike Skinner, aka the Streets.

Skinner has said that Computers and Blues will be his final album released under the name the Streets. But now, apparently, he's already got another one recorded.

Consequence of Sound points out a blog post, in which Skinner writes that Computers and Blues is actually more than a year old and that his label has been waiting for the right time to release it: "apart from having written it and therefore it being a part of me, it doesn't feel a part of me. its a part of my past. it sits in the machine right now waiting to leak into the cloud." So he's recorded another LP, which he's calling Cyberspace and Reds and plans to release before Computers and Blues is out. Skinner describs Cyberspace and Reds as "recordings of various rooms," and he's been soliciting fan input into the making of the album via his site and his Twitter.

Computers and Blues:

01 Outside Inside
02 Going Through Hell
03 Roof of Your Car
04 Puzzled By People
05 Without a Blink
06 Blip on a Screen
07 Those That Don't Know
08 Soldiers
09 We Can Never Be Friends
10 ABC
11 OMG
12 Trying To Kill M.E.
13 Trust Me
14 Lock the Locks

Any other hip hop fans here? I know I'll be getting Common's new album scheduled for release in the spring.

For some reason I feel like he's losing interest in making music, I would love a spring release date but I think that's being optimistic. Listened to "Be" again today, still an amazing record.

Just the fact that Mark Ronson is producing tells me he won't have time to be lazy and a spring release is totally possible.
