I did not participate this year, because I myself cannot afford cards and postage to send out cards. I was thinking that it would not be fair for me to receive cards and not be able to send out some.

It's the NSA. They intercepted your cards and added extra vowels just so they could spy on you.

I can see that happening. Christmas cards can be a real danger to national security you know. One of Santa's elves could be a spy.

Last month (Nov.) I sent a regular post card to Paris: took three weeks.

I meant to report: Harke's card to me arrived January 7. (I love the nostalgic picture!)

And thanks to each of you for your cards. I still have them up on the wall; they make me happy! I'll accept the passing of time and take them down before spring cleaning, to be sure, but until then you're being thought of daily.

Harke's card arrived "today" - which means sometime in the past six days. Very unusually, six days ago was the last time I went into town to get mail out of my P. O. Box. Thank you! (I wonder if the delay issue has anything to do with the size of the card?)
