Battles - La Di Da Di

More Info: http://warp.net

Preorder: http://bleep.com/release/62138-battles-la-di-da-di

Battles have now announced details of new album ‘La Di Da Di’ to be released 18 September 2015.

Battles are the networked band, an island chain linked by a unique combination of artistry, experimentation, technology and singular focus. Dave Konopka, Ian Williams and John Stanier have turned the tables on themselves this time; ‘La Di Da Di’ is a mushrooming monolith of repetition. Here is an organic techno thrum of nearly infinite loops that refuse to remain consistent. The rhythmic genus of Battles is here as ever; full frontal, heightened and unforgiving.

Tracklisting:

01.The Yabba
02.Dot Net
03.FF Bada
04.Summer Simmer
05.Cacio e Pepe
06.Non-Violence
07.Dot Com
08.Tyne Wear
09.Tricentennial
10.Megatouch
11.Flora > Fauna
12.Luu Le

New Tame Impala is out and pretty darn great. Slightly more pop-oriented psychedlic break-up record.

The new Wilco is also out and FREE! So you have no excuse. It's also pretty darn good, even though at least one song sounds more like Kurt Vile or The War on Drugs than it does Wilco. Also the cover is kind of amazing.

The new Mew has been out for a couple months now. It's pretty fantastic. Everything they do is fantastic. You have no idea, but you should. If Rush and Sigur Ros had Danish babies making catchy and sprawling progressive love songs about cartoons, space movies, and getting lost, it might sound like Mew. Their sound is BIG yet intimate. Don't let their ugly album covers and lack of cool videos deceive you. Love them.

Jacques Renault will release his debut album, Zentrum, on September 14th.

The LP will be issued by Let's Play House, the party and label Renault runs in New York with Nik Mercer. It comes almost a decade into his production career, during which time he's put out edits, remixes and original productions as a solo artist and as one half of Runaway with Marcos Cabral.

10. Touch You feat. The Emperor Machine

Peaches, Rub

The electro provocateur returns with Rub, her first studio album in six years. On it, the performance artist and musician — most famous for her incendiary club anthem “Fuck the Pain Away” — continues to ooze sexuality, smash gender barriers, and swear like it’s going out of style. (September 25)
