Wishing death to thousands and millions of citizens in a particular country or two, by a virus affecting the whole world, and able to mutate anywhere in the world.

These guys believe the world's population needs to be reduced by a billion or two, and they figure the densest populations are the biggest problem. Of course that one is a "White Pride" type explains a bit; the other is mixed race but believes that the different races need to be equal in numbers. What they really like is a death toll over a billion that reduces the ethnicities that have an "unfair numerical advantage".

It may be worth pointing out that both are fans of Ayn Rand.

Well, not only people: there is too much "stuff" of all sorts that could be cleaned up from the surface of Earth but, again, one way or the other, you can not expect to reduce the "numbers" out there without affecting your own... one way or the other.
In any case, if they actually wanted it, instead of the mere wishing, they could move their lazy fat asses to start working for that... and see what they could achieve.

The video is intended to be funny but there is an underlying truth- that there's been so much disinformation and sabotage done in 2020 that many of the vaccine-resistant people need to have their doctors that they have trust relationship with or to have one of their trusted friends say, "You need to do this for yourself and for your family members who might be get really sick if you give the COVID... or god forbid, they may die".

But yeah... don't listen to your high school friend from Facebook who sells jewelry.

Not completely -- I know a couple of people who need to hear that who have IQs near 120; their problem is that they confuse being intelligent with being knowledgeable! Below are a couple of graphs to show the past 12 months of COVID-19 cases in the US.

The first graph shows the rolling average of new cases. The escalation of cases started around Halloween, escalated further with Thanksgiving and again after Christmas/New Years.

• Vaccination campaigns started the week of Christmas with the first million vaccinations administered on 22-Dec, primarily to healthcare workers.
• By the time the previous occupant of the White House vacated the premises on 20-Jan, the US reached 199,048 daily cases and 4,415 daily deaths (2.2% estimated mortality). Only 16,525,281 million first dose vaccines had been administered.
• By the end of February, 75,236,003 vaccines had been adminstered. Daily cases had dropped to about 67,000 cases per day with about 2,000 deaths per day (2.9% estimated mortality).
• The current numbers are 149,462,265 people have received their first dose and 108,926,627 have received their second dose (about 33% of the US population). Cases are down to about 46,000 cases per day with about 700 deaths per day (1.5% estimated mortality).
• Currently, 70% of people age 65 and over are fully vaccinated and deaths rates in this age group have declined significantly. The vaccine has only been available to people 18 years of age and older and 42% of people 18 and over are fully vaccinated.
• There's a proposal to make the vaccine available to kids from age 12 and older.

The second graph shows the rolling average of daily deaths.

Three take-aways from these graphs:

• The vaccines are working. There was a big decline when vaccines started being administered at a rate of 2-3 million doses per day. But the cases and deaths have leveled off at rates close to what we saw last summer. It's getting better but it's not over.
• We still have 700 people dying per day. The mortality remains about 1.5% but the number of daily cases have dropped to about 20% of the numbers seen in January. Daily case numbers are still too high.
• Not enough people are fully vaccinated. The deaths we're seeing are in a younger group of people.
