I'm going to the beach in a couple months and I need to tone up. Attached is a pic of me now. What suggestions do you have for how to get fit? I run about 15-20 miles a week now... should I just up the milage? I'm eatting normal sized meals and only eat healthy stuff -- no fried or fatty foods.

Suggestions?

If you're just doing cardio (which is what running is) your body assumes that it must desperately save every calorie... it assumes that you aren't eating enough. So, you need to start actually building muscle -- your body will start assuming that it needs to burn all those calories... that may be a simplistic explanation. I'm on a metaphor kick for some reason... just start lifting some weights.
 
Dude you want to be thinner? Keep doing what your doing with eating and running....maybe some situps too.....as stated your hot.
 
If you want a more defined upper body running won't do it all.Try crunches if that works for you.(you look nice).
 
Yeah I want more defined upper body... I hate pushups and crunches :D but I'm going to start doing more...

How much progress do you think I can make in 2.5 months?

Contrary to what most think i just purchased a bowflex and i has definatly given a total upper and any thing i want workout with results .if you can't go there try gyms or other avenues
