I find it admirable though of you that you have some respect that perhaps you are more than just a piece of meat. I wish more gay guys would realize that.

Well there's a topic for discussion--do Australians realize you have accents that the entire rest of the world finds sexy as fuck?! Do you even notice?

On a non-sexual note, I have a similar build as you, although not the broad shoulders that you have, which I think help skinny guys pull off the "look." Like you, I have always been self conscious and don't ever take my shirt off at the beach, etc. And while I'm still intimidated at the gym, what I've finally discovered as I'm coming out is that plenty of guys like the "twinkish" look. As long as you're healthy looking, well groomed, and act like you have a bit of self-confidence, I think you're going to do just fine with the boys! I have, so far!

Speaking of which, I, for one, appreciate that you have standards. Dude, it's hard finding Mr. Right! Seems like everybody wants Mr. Right Now. Let me know if you're ever in D.C. and we can commiserate over a drink.

For the first time in nearly 10 years I actually get to have Christmas off and be with my extended family.

Oh yeah, surprising my mom with an iPad 2. :D
 
I'm stuck on what to get my dad. He's a tough nut to crack when it comes to gifts. He always says "socks" or "work shirts", then he kinda gives a "uh huh" look when he gets them.
 
That sounds great for your mom!

I may end up going the gift card route for my dad. He won't give me any ideas.
