24 yrs old/ no boyfriend..EVER?!

Hey, I'm exactly like you--24 and still no boyfriend. The thought of a random hookup just gives me the shivers. I'm not necessarily waiting for Mr. Right, but I'm not settling for Mr. Right Now.
 
I feel your pain buddy, I'm 24 and never had anyone either. What makes things worse is that I'm also in the closet and an in a small southern town. Your kind of at an advantage, being in SoCal, where you have a ton of people and the area is pretty tolerant.

If I were you, I would, maybe try and join a gay volunteer group or organization with people of your similar interest. You may have better luck there. Best wishes to you. (*8*)

Whatever... I think we should not give up our hope. I did that once and it didn't help either ;)

I will soon be 28 and have only been in one SERIOUS 3 year relationship and have been single for 6 years. Before that relationship, I had only dated a few people and after that relationship, I've not dated since.

I've micromanaged myself and others in the past 6 years so much, that I've thought perhaps I'm being to picky. However, when I do find someone (or someone finds me) I want to make sure it's going to last. So sometimes, I think I'll never find anyone - but EVENTUALLY, I know it will happen. If it doesn't, what have I really lost? I've already loved once.

As cleche as it may sound, hang in there. It will happen for you. I believe everyone loves at least once in their life, whether or not it last.. And from your picture, you shouldn't have much trouble at all finding a partner!
 
I am in the same position and am 21 yrs old but, I am a shy person and also trying to come to terms w/ my sexuality.Hopefully you find someone.
