for me, Dennehy would be from Gacy (To Catch a Killer) to Cocoon, 80s-90s era.
afaik, his last role was Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, filmed shortly before his passing, and aired after he was gone. He played the mayor's father, and looked like he was tied to the chair, barely able to move. His mind was still there, but his body was already failing. It's almost painful to watch, despite being a short but powerful scene.

It doesn't get mentioned in these reviews, just hinted at in a couple episode recaps, but the equally Bearish Johnathan Nieves, playing the younger Mayor Townsend, does get a sex scene in an earlier episode that shows most of the goods...even as he's unaware that he's being filmed for blackmail purposes. He's a bottom, btw.
There is a follow up "date" later on, but we don't get to see anything good.

oh, and Nathan Lane is apparently playing it straight in there? The review mentions a line I missed, referring to his family, when I watched the whole season with the impression he was a "private dick" in more ways than one. Definitely (Hayes) coded as such.

And Danny is a known Bear tease. He's got his quirks, but he also lets his kinks slip into his various projects. Leather, police badges, paranormal, showing off as much skin as he can, etc.
