Re: Movie "300"

The Persians are the cultural "parents" of the Iranians, just as the ancient Greeks are of the modern Greeks. They are not the same, though a few thousand years of wars, invasions and intermixing have seen to that. But the Greeks and the Persians fought each other for thousands of years, and its true.

And if the film ignored the fact that the most elite army of the Spartans was comprised of gay couples, then what can I say. Hollywood does it again!!!
Hmmm who cares? This isnt about a bunch of gay couples. It's about a battle between the Spartans and Persians. There really was no room for a story about some gay couples. I would have been mad if they did, it would have been completely out of place.

I loved the movie. The fight scenes were amazing. I have never seen fight scenes like that, especially when they show Leonidus' fight. It was absolutely amazing, what a bad ass that man was. The bodies were AMAZING! I was suprised that all of them were so incredibly physically fit. They must have gone through a training regimen harder than the one for the movie Alexander. All of the soldiers in the film fought like they had used a spear and shield all their lives. All the scenes were just beautiful and stunning. Amazing!!!! I will def have to buy the movie when it comes out.

Gerard Butler said he had to train for seven months before shooting to get into shape for the role. He also worked out on set in between takes. As for the movie I thought it was great but wasn't totally blown away like others seem to be.

Just saw the movie, It was sooo good!! I recommend watching it. Every guy in this movie had an 8 pack, on LIE~!

I just saw this last night and I was absolutely blown away! I think it's the best movie of this kind since Gladiator back in 2000. Way better than Troy, Kingdom of Heaven etc.......

Gerard Butler was so fucking hot and so was the rest of the Spartans-oh wow I can't believe that big of a group of men could all have these jaw-dropping amazing bodies! (Anyone think Rodrigo Santorio as Xerxes kinda looked like Dahlsim from the Street Fighter video game?? LOL)

The visuals were stunning and the kick ass battle sequences & very gory blood was great to watch on screen (I'm gay but hey I'm still a guy lol).

My favorite scenes in the movie were the Matrix-like sequences where they would show one of the Spartan fighters take out, like, 6 or 7 Persians all in one slow-motion bloody take-I loved it!

I would definitely watch this one again!

$70 million dollar weekend. I already saw it twice, but I would've estimated around $40 million. My roommate wwnet to get tickets at 8 on saturday, and all shows were sold out until 11 (and it was playing on 4 screens!).

Gerard Butler can sit on my face or anything else he wants to any day of the week, at any time...........

Suffocation by nut sack, what a way to go!!!!

Yes IMAX is best for the type of movie.
