Well, personally, I had a grand old time!

Since I got back on the red-eye at 6am today, I've been busy tending to my partner who recently had surgery, so I haven't posted any more pictures yet. But I hope to, tonight or tomorrow.

I don't understand the bitchiness in this thread.

Seems like there's extra bitchiness everywhere these days. I guess JUB is no exception.

I don't think I'd wanna go to a JUB meet either if people with your attitude are there. I'd only consider meeting certain members of this forum. Not everyone, and I'm sure EF had his reasons so just shut the fuck up already. Jeez...

Did you read all the shit he gave EF?

He may be an otherwise alright guy, but he was WAY out of line.

Read all the stuff he wrote to EF and you tell me what people should think.



But really, I think people are getting the wrong idea about this meet. 9oC didn't even seem to be a part of it, so his commentary shouldn't ruin it for you guys.

Maybe he did have a bad day or couple days, maybe he had a MASSIVE brain fart. Hey, it happens. If he can openly apologize for the bullshit he put EF through, it woul be a great start.

But enough about him, how about we get back to the real subject of this thread...

I will FURTHER contribute to the derailing of this thread...

Nineofclubs is a GREAT guy and I feel PRIVILEGED EVERY time I get to spend a day or two in Portland in HIS company!!!

I talked to him about these posts -- and YES he was drinking a little lol -- and I suspect that he wishes he had used less abrasive language...

BUT he considers a LOT of you on here that disagreed with his premise to be his friends -- and I hope you can overlook his passionate display...

I actually agree with him -- ALTHOUGH, I would have said it in a MUCH nicer way!!!

I've attended SEVERAL JUB meets -- and have been honored to meet QUITE A FEW Jubbers as I travel around the country -- FOR ME, meeting other Jubbers is the ABSOLUTE BEST PART OF JUB!!!

I'm sorry to see Noiro has deleted his account. He was already on the fence with so much negativity on the boards. This was just the icing on the cake.

Personally, I think the Jub meets are fantastic. I've met, and made some great friends as a result.

Nineofclubs might have been a bit hasty with his reactions and posts, but I do know he is a great guy.

I hope that those of you who haven't had the chance to meet any Jubbers; be it in a meet, or a one on one, do so.

I think many of us came here to meet others that have the same interests, but were a bit uneasy doing that in 'real life'.

Before Jub, I was in the closet and unfocused on how to pursue meeting guys. I'm totally out, and enjoying life, and I owe much of that to my fellow Jub members!

Noiro might be gone, but I hope others can gain what I have from this forum. If nothing else, some great friends!

It sucks that Orion is gone..

No matter how much fun you try to make a JUB meet there will always be bitchiness in threads or even at the meeting sometimes. You don't have to let that ruin the meet or discussions about the meet though.

The people who went knew that they had fun regardless of other's opinions of JUB Meets. JUB meets are awesome. I haven't been to one where there was someone who I disliked and if I did it wouldn't ruin it for me.

The fact is the bitchiness, drama, and attitude seems much more apparent online. Don't assume that because some people like to start shit or complain are going to be like that in person. Some people don't have to balls to do it in person

I don't think JUB meets will become a thing of the past though. It seems that Stacy and Orion have done a great job at JUB meets so far. They've found things for people to do regardless of the age being 18 or 21 and up. They have put forth the effort and taken on the stress to plan these events as well. I feel very safe with either of them planning a jub meet because they are both very trustworthy and do care and don't go "LOL meeting cancelled"

But anyways. I hope no one in this thread is turned off by JUB Meets. Please just don't confuse the stuff that people say online and assume they will act that way in person. People on here are so much different in person. Some for the better and some for the worse.
