  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

4 or 3 days working week debate ...

mmmm No one want to work less days and more time to enjoy ??

Share the work around.

New machinery and technology suppose to help you work less right ?

Um... I'm one of those that actually enjoy my work. I wouldn't say my work is my life, but I actually really do enjoy my work. I wouldn't know what to do with all the free time I have if I only work 3-4 days a week.

Besides, there are already a lot of lazy people out there who do the least they possibly can to get by. The current system already allows for those who don't want to work a lot to not work a lot and those who enjoy work can work more. After all, no one is stopping you from getting a parttime job and staying on it forever.

Although there are times when more free time would be enjoyable, if you don't have more money to spend on your free time it doesn't work. Also, if you don't mind your work, it helps the time pass, and if you actually like your work, it doesn't matter and you wouldn't mind spending more time on it because it is your hobby too.

I already work when and if I want. The rest of you should work 60 hour weeks.

Why not just work for 4 or 3 days per week ??
I think its a good idea. How about you ?

I think if you get hired to a job, and you're told how many days to work, you work. If you don't like the work schedule, don't accept the job! Reminds of the employees at McDonald's who accepted a job for $8.00 per hour, now they're demanding $15.00. If you don't like it, quit! Find another job!
