I haven't posted a blog in a loooooooooooong time I know and I'm sorry, but those close to me in this forum (the sports bar fellas) know why I'm not posting as much as before. Maybe I should have posted a blog about it but anywho...
Yesterday I had a strange and quite funny encounter in the subway.
On my way home from my parents' apartment I always take the subway.
It was really cold yesterday and it was snowing so I had my hood on.
Just outside the subway station I see this police officer waving and gesturing at me. I couldn't hear him at first because I had my ear buds on and mp3 player was blasting some Lady Gaga song.... so I take down my hood and ear buds and he greets me and asks for my identity card... It's not unusual for police officers in the city to ask for some ID every now and then so I showed him my ID card. The address on my ID card is still my parents' address so he could see I live in the neighborhood (although I don't). I thought that would be it and I'd be able to catch the next train which was due in 2 minutes LOL...
Well, that didn't happen. He didn't return my ID instead he asked me to follow him.
I was like WTF is going on, I couldn't see a patrol car outside the station so I was worried.
He entered the metro station and I had to follow him. We went through some "staff only" door and ended up in this very long and narrow hallway.
Not long after I see a sign on a door saying "subway security".
So we entered and he asked me to take a seat. The room had a very big window facing the entrance of the subway station where the tickets are being sold with very bright PINK blinds. Just when I though "oh it's alright, I can see the entrance", he closed the blinds
That was the moment when I thought "alright, now he'll be pulling his dick out and I have to start screaming and dialing my bf." LOL. Well, that didn't happen thankfully, he just entered my ID card details in a computer to check whether I have been arrested before. Everything was ok, he joined me to the exit of this "security" room, I went trough the door and he just stood there so I asked "what's next"... what he answered was also very strange, he said "whatever you choose...". I was like WTF...
, he realized I was confused so he apologized for the inconvenience and said he hopes I wasn't late because of this... since he caused this inconvenience he let me enter the station without buying a ticket through another service door.
All the time that we were alone he was very nice (smiling all the time) and very strange as well... he asked me things that he shouldn't ask because it's non of his business and has nothing to do with this "id look-up". I didn't answer any of the things he asked that were irrelevant such as what's my job and if it pays well...
The cop was 30-ish, not very tall, good body structure and average face.
What do u think, was this just a regular look-up or was there something more to it? Because I've never been checked like this before and I've never heard of anyone being asked to follow a policeman inside the station for a look-up...
I told my boyfriend and he was like laughing and joking, saying the cop wanted to fool with me.
