To me personally (eff off SJWs), nothing is more rewarding and satisfying in life than being in a secure long term committed relationship where we can share each other's pains, problems, happiness, joys, pleasures, hardships, etc.
We've been thru a lot together. Between the two of us, we've gone through 3 careers, fallen deep into debt and back out of debt, bought 3 houses together, raised three dogs, sent ninja assassins, and many more things.
We thought long and hard (pun intended) which date we should celebrate mainly? The date we met? The date we officially started dating? Married? We decided the date we met should be the main date we celebrate because it changed both our lives.
The amazing thing is we almost have nothing in common. In fact, we are polar opposites on just about everything you can name. I listen to classical while he listens to heavy metal. I get lost all the time while he's a human gps. He's a great cook while the best dish I ever made was ramen noodle. I work in a technical field while he works in PR and marketing. He loves wrestling and I hate it. In fact, at this moment I can't think of a single thing we have in common. Weird how it works.
Anyway, happy life day!
