NEW YEARS EVE...1979...these are the songs that took the roof off...I got to work in the back and play with the strobe lights a lot that night....

I'd give 10/10 to your song choices by Hazell Dean, Weather Girls, Andrea True Connection, The Supremes, Carl Bean, Claudja Barry, Miquel Brown, & Natalie Cole.
I like The Boss by Diana Ross , but dare I say that I prefer the cover version by The Braxtons.
Also, this thread is my first time to hear Love Machine by The Miracles. I've known the Wham! version for years, thinking it was the only version.
I like that 'Ain't Nobody Straight In LA'. It sounds like it should be on a gay compilation cd, yet it was never on any that I bought.
I've only ever heard two songs by Stephanie Mills, and now your Medicine Song. I can't think why I've never looked her up on youtube before. Such a great voice.
