I have a non-gay related questions. Does anybody remember a show in 90's similar to power rangers? Not vr troopers. It had four teens in high school, one white guy, one black guy, one blonde girl and one brunette girl. I think they would go into the janitor's closet and be transported to another world, seems like a desert, where they would fight villains. I think when not superhero fighting they would hang out in a coffee house. Any any ideas of the name of the show?

Wasnt there some weird show called like "tattooed teenage alien fighters from beverly hills" that was like even lower budget power rangers knockoff?

Yes this was it. Thank you so much! That has been bugging me for a while. Yes it was a low budget show but it brings back memories. Thanks again!

Wow I've never heard of Dynaman, but I'm glad people remember the others...
I miss the 90s... so cheesy yet so awfully awesome. I had a ton of their action figures!

Their theme songs alone make me cringe, but still bring back the memories. What do kids have these days that even compare to the mess we grew up with? lol

Dynaman was a Japanese show in the Super Sentai series. It's been on the air in Japan since the 70s and is still on today. Every year, there's a new season featuring a new cast, new theme, and new costumes. The 1992 season, called Zyuranger, acted as the source footage for the first season of Power Rangers in the US. After that, the US show used footage from each of the following seasons, with the US version airing a year after its Japanese counterpart. Just FYI:

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 1 - Zyuranger
MMPR S2 - Dairanger
MMPR S3 - Kakuranger
Power Rangers Zeo - Ohranger
Power Rangers Turbo - Carranger
Power Rangers In Space - Megaranger
Power Rangers Lost Galaxy - Gingaman
Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue - Go Go V
Power Rangers Time Force - Timeranger
Power Rangers Wild Force - Gaoranger
Power Rangers Ninja Storm - Hurricanger
Power Rangers Dino Thunder - Abaranger
Power Rangers SPD - Dekaranger
Power Rangers Mystic Force - Magiranger
Power Rangers Operation Overdrive - Boukenger
Power Rangers Jungle Fury - Gekiranger
Power Rangers RPM - Go-onjer

The series was created by Haim Saban, who produced the show up through Wild Force, when the franchise was sold - along with the entire company and the FOX Kids block of programming - to Disney. The immense success of Power Rangers led Saban to create other shows, including VR Troopers, which was made in the same way as Power Rangers. Original footage was spliced with footage from another Japanese series called Metal Heroes. The same goes for Masked Rider, based on the Kamen Rider series. Saban also created original series like Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills and the Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog. None of the other shows lived up to the success of Power Rangers, which eventually became the only surviving entity.

Disney stopped producing the show last year and just this week sold the franchise back to Haim Saban. New seasons should start airing on Nickelodeon next year.

I think I know which one you are talking about.

I Think it's Super Human Samari Cyber Squad. One of the Lawrence brothers was in it.

It was Matthew Lawrence. After VR Troopers, that was the show that came to mind.
