"A Banking System that steals people's Money"

In the USA, "affluenza" has been successfully used to keep rich people out of prison, occasionally.

There was that teenager who was driving drunk, and killed five people in a wreck last year in Texas, and he never had to go to jail at all...just "probation." I don't have the link, but it was a major story last year.

If you want to get some basic facts on this issue look up "Financial Crisis of 2007-08" on Wikipedia. I got the impression that there was plenty of blame to go around. The Canadian banks did not get into trouble because they didn't engage in risky lending. I wonder if Matt even knows what a bank is. Banks were "bailed out" by having liquidity injected into the system to avoid a run on financial institutions (that would have been really ugly), but they were not "given" money (just as when you deposit money in a bank you are not giving money to a bank you are lending money to a bank).
