A bit of an awkward question....bad smell

So a little over a week ago, I first rimmed a guy. I couldn't do it for very long though because the smell and taste were unbearable. I just thought that that was perhaps normal and that I'd never do it again. And now, my ass smells just like his. I started noticing it a couple days ago when I was sitting at my desk just in shorts. I was trying to find the source of the smell, and I went to the bathroom, wiped, and smelled. It smelled terrible. And it still smells terrible. Time after time. Not like my "usual" smell either. But exactly like that guy smelled like when I was rimming him. Is this a coincidence? I just find it weird that the smell was so overwhelming and that now it's afflicting me. Anyone know what's up?

Think Lady MacBeth. Only instead of blood, you've got the smell of ass. Relax, about rimming. The first time someone did it to me I didn't like it because I was afraid I'd have to do it to him. It's wonderful - just make sure he's shower fresh, and enjoy!

What you are describing is possible. There are some studies that show that the bacteria in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract is common in families, which means that there is a transfer of GI bacteria among family members. In theory, you could have acquired some of your partner's bacteria through anilingus.

However, the smell that you're describing has more to do with the food that a person eats and the breakdown of that food in the digestive process.

Smell is very connected to memory. I'm more likely that you were so turned off by the smell during sex with the guy that you are now sensitized to the smell. Similar things happen when people get sick after eating certain food or have a bad experience with alcohol- subsequent exposures to the smell bring back memories of the time that they got sick.

Unless you're a guy who is turned on by scat, your partners should shower and clean well with soap and or baby wipes before oral-anal contact.

Interesting KaraBulut. It's just weird because I never noticed it before. And, yes, Marley, I have very good hygiene. I shower once to twice a day, and I've been more conscientious about washing my ass too. So I really don't know what's up. I don't remember if my groin was near his or vice versa...we were kind of drunk.

I can tell tales of that one. It took me literally years until I could smell tequila again without the immediate feeling of the need to puke

True. However, my main point was just that his smell became mine, and I was worried that something biological may have happened. While I am aware that it may be psychological to some extent, it was still a bit problematic for me to start recognizing a smell on my own body that didn't previously exist.

Thanks for the comments though. I feel a bit better. Hopefully it goes away. I don't like having to shower two times a day because I have to. I do it because I want to haha.

I had a double chocolate Yoo-hoo before hand (I wasn't even high yet, so, I have no excuse)... needless to say, the smell or taste of either makes me wretch

I know what you mean as far as scents being transmitted. After rubbing cocks with a couple of guys I picked up scents I didn't have before! They all went away with frequent showers. Not a problem since!

It is largely psychological. You can try drinking kefir or eating something like Activia that has live acidophilus or bifidus culture.
